I have seen the tech article about converting the strut mounts, but it states that you need to use touring parts still?

I was hoping to do the conversion and put on some KYB SR specials and Espelir springs.....any ideas?

First you don't have Active Suspension.

Do you own a Nissan Cima (Y33) or a 1997-2001 Infiniti Q45 (FGY33)?

He has the 99' which wasn't active but it was electronic. I don't know much about that particular setup since my 97' was old-fashioned struts/shocks and springs. I know the older Z's used a similar system and required a retro kit to make them work with standard shocks and springs.

i had the factory electronic adjustable shocks on my 300zxturbo, when they wore out, I replaced them with tokiko Illumina 5 way manually adjustable shocks which were great- check to see if they are available for your year Q.
