I've got a leaky hydraulic shock (driver's side rear) on my 94 Q45a (yep, the active suspension has sprung a leak -- $$$). Is the shock called an accumulator or is that just the canister on the side?

Anyone know where to get a replacement (new or good used -- like one off a recent conversion), where I can get it rebuilt or a seal replacement kit?

I'm looking to get back on the road for low buck and I'd really hate to buy the "premium" part from the dealer but I'm at a loss of where to find the solution.

I also need a 10-disc cd changer if anyone has a working unit. I'll post another topic on that (search brings up many topics -- I'll sift through but let me know if there's any out there).

Thanks

Welcome to NICO!!!

Texasoil (a member of NICO) sells recharged accumulators for a great price. Email him via the "profile" button under one of his posts.

Also, do a search on the word "accumulators" and "active" - There's lots of good reading therein.

Texasoil is our resident Active suspension expert, he will lead you.........

I saw a 6cd changer on ebay not too long ago....... I have the clarion 6cd in my car (94Q) and it is fine....... Just stock up on a few extra magazines (I was lucky, I stole one out of my grandpas car, he has one EXACTLY like mine, and his is a 2003 model)
