I remember that car and it did kind of piss me off.

He was posting about his bad injectors but then in his ad he put down that it needs a tuneup

That is just false advertising no matter how you cut it. When did a tune up turn into big ticket replacement.

Somethings I can understand but an injector issue.

There is no excuse for bad information delivered on purpose.

Especially on a nissan infiniti board.

You can get good Q's for that range or as in my case less.

If he doesnt say about his injectors what else is he not telling?

The suspension is dead too, but I guess that's a given.

More technical difficulties I would think. Maybe another hack.

Wasnt another hack (see other thread, it was a minor admin mistake). Anyway, tony said something about how he had extensive records. Someone bought it new, drove it, donated it to charity, then he picked it up. And then I said it was gorgeous, and the body is the most expensive part of a car.

Then I said something about spending a few summers in Phoenix, Yeah that's right, I lived in the land of 110 degrees at 9am. Saw loads of concerts at Rockers and Fire Lake, Skied Lake Pleasant. Ran in Tempe, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Peoria and rode the golf carts of Sun City.

You guys crack me up! Well, my post clarified a few earlier misconceptions about the Q's present condition---what has been done and what I am finding out it needs. So far, an injector or two and a vehicle height switch at the very least until I self diagnose the ACTSUS. Maybe new paint since the clearcoat is beginning to shed like a snake...maybe a new owner too, depending on what I decide to do with it. Otherwise..you're right Jesda it is simply gorgeous! :-)

Tony (and others) - I'm happy to look at it for any potential buyers.

I'd like to hear a knowledgeable enthusiast's unbiased assessment. I appreciate the offer. I am planning on getting the alleged injector issue tended to first, so it's running on all 8 and then it will be available for inspection. I still have yet to drive a strong running Q (this is my first) but I believe and hope that this one will be soon!

Once you do, you're hooked. When you have one with the power to pin you back in yours seat and especailly an active Q, you will see why this forum is here. A pure driving machine designed around you the driver. UUhhmmm, I gotta go drive now...... get a good rearview mirror...
