does the Q45a runs the same ECU as the non-a's, will I be able to usestandard Q45's or aftermarket ECU in the active Q45?

what's the wire for in the first pic, the black one at the bottom, it runs all the way to the passenger compartment with 2 male connectors?

also can i connect directly to the ECU without the extension?

thanks

the active ECU software is different but the hardware is the same. so if you were to get a NICO ECU you just say you have an active car and we can load the active software on no problem....

if you ran a non active ECU on your active car itd probably throw an active suspension code, but it may not....

the wires your talking about in the first pic definitely arent factory. i wonder if you have some sort of active suspension controller.... i bet those 2 connectors are for the control unit on the suspension controller

might take the box that the wires are connecting to and see what it says.... my guess is it wont say NISSAN on it.

the box with a "D" on it in the pic has the following numbers:52700 8(or 6, can't see it clearly)4010 1514no NISSAN on it.

and on the huge blue conecctor of the extension wires has a lable:FIELD DHC-11H

the 2 connectors were connected to somthing, but the control unit was gone.

it might be a suspension controller, cause only left side ofthe car will lowered when engine start, it will drop about2 inch, but right side wont change at all, I had a tech tochecked the car, but he couldn't find anything wrong with it.

it's gonna be hard to get , even if I get one, is it gonna work . since we know it's aftermarket conntroller, can I just connect directly to theECU, without the extension wires?

found one on yahoo jp, but wont ship internationally
