Anyone every experienced this?

q45a with 93k miles, fresh Texasoil accumalors on each actuator. Fluid levels are good. No leaks. SWAY bar is intact. Car will randomly lose its ability to maintain balance and it will start rocking, left to right only, when thrown off balance. Eventually it stops and goes away. Not sure where to start with no codes, and most of the time it is working correctly. Seemed to start as the temperature dropped.

Status of the last time the fluid was changed I do not know, and I am not sure changing the fluid would cause what is happening. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Did you see Diagnostic procedure 11 in the 1994 Q45 service manual?

Thanks, I found that. Not sure how to get to those sensors but I'll try. But it is doing the tilt at start up. And raises and lowers. Maybe the vertical sensors are bad as well?

Do you have a Nissan Consult cable? If so use ECU Talk to check the sensor values.

No I don't, probably need to invest in that.

Where can I get that? Then just download ECM talk?

Is that better than the consult?

A Consult can do everything, so no.

First thing any active owner must do is search for all posts by texasoil, including including General Chat.

Kind of sounds like Lower Control Arms your bushings might be worn out. I have the same problem i think whenever im driving and my front tires hit lets say a crack in the road or a little dip in the road the car will move quickly left and right seems like the tire is getting pushed out of place. I had my mechanic check my suspension when i changed my starter and he said my lower arm controls are old and need to be replaced and i also needed new Struts but struts just keep your car from bouncing so much. So maybe check your Lower Control Arms

This was not a control arm issue, active intermittently adjusts sway through the g sensors incorrectly. Texasoil, given that this is intermittent does not think it's the sensors. But the code I get is 14 for the g sensors. I need a 98805-64U00 sensor to try but they are no longer made

You still need to read all of texasoil's posts.

I have read what I believe is all posts related to active suspension. Knowing is one thing but doing something with the knowledge is another. Just because you know how the system works doesn't mean the person performing the work to the car does.

Do you have any other codes besides code 14? Follow the instructions in the service manual for the Lateral G sensors. Who told you the sensors are no longer available?
