I assume you mean all three bulbs illuminated...[went off?].......relays under the battery is a good place to start.

Follow FSM diagnostic proceedure.

"Went off" or illuminated? If the latter, have you checked your battery and alternator?

I guess I meant the bulbs did illuminate...The alternator and the battery are almost new; I had them replaced by the dealer approximately three months ago. Q45 Tech - Can you provide me more info on the "FSM Diagnostic Procedure"?Tks.

He wasn't referring to your battery, but the location of the relays that "control" those systems. If your old battery was in poor shape it's likely "stuff" may have made it's way down to these relays. The Diagnostics he mentioned will help, but if you don't have the FSM (Full Service Manual) you will need to find one. Theer's a web site that let's you dowlonad a pdf version if you pay their fee, a 1 day fee and a cable modem should pay good dividends.

first place to start is the fuse /relay box just aft of the battery. No way would all the systems hard fail--its clearly electrical.

Quick update: Yesterday afternoon when I started the car to go back home from work, the lights did not come on again. It has been ok since then (?) Could it have gone into some sort of fail safe mode and corrected itself (just a guess)? I will keep an eye for any unusual things.

FYI - For those in the Seattle/Bellevue area - the public library in Bellevue does have a copy of the service manual (reference books section).
