will a 2000 q45 wood grain wheel fit on 97 q45? If not will a qx4 fit?

I would think there's a good chance since they're just revisions of the same car - although the electrical connections may be different depending on the options on the wheel. You might try comparing them in the factory service manuals - available at http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/

I think the 97 manual is incomplete, but the 98 should be very close.

I can get you a JDM wood grain if you want. Below is the 1st gen president one I picked up. Cima FGY33 wheels popup. Saw a Walnut one a bit back. Was pretty damn nice looking

The Walnut one is the more expensive Y33 one i've seen. Used it runs around 450$ USDM + shipping and however you obtain it. Yourself or a middleman. 600-1k to your door for JUST a wheel. Also it depends if you get the airbag. NEW the walnut runs about 1k for the wheel without the bag. Brand new G50 wheels still go for more than Y33 wheels in some cases.
