About 5 months ago I saw a picture of a Q45 with stock Lexus SC400 wheels on it. Does someone here have pictures of that car? Please drop me a link. I have a chance to buy some myself but wanted to see what they look like on a Q45 before I fork over the money. Thanks.,…..

I personally don't like that idea, but I guess it's your choice.

The only photo of a Q with Lexus wheels that I know of is this one. Maybe some of the other members have more (hope not)!

There's one somewhere of a black G50 with the SC430 wheels on it.

Which model Q45 were you referring to in your post and which Lexus wheels?

They dont look bad, but its the thought that counts... Plus the hub has to be bored out.

Exactly. The person who did it said the expense was not worth it.

Is the hub size on the first and second gen Q45 the same? I have the 2 Q45's a 1990 and a 1992. Will the lexus wheels bolt right on with no mod?

IIRC, the Lexus hubs are 60.10 (54.10 for some) versus the Nissan/Infiniti 66.10 that would be shared by all Q45's 1990-2005.

Wow... interesting to see a couple pics of mine from that linked thread. The black G50 had custom billet adapter spacers that pushed the wheels out flush, and the hub bore no longer would become an issue if you use similar adapters. The SC430 wheels are 18x8", +45mm, so they would be quite sunken in and rub if bolted on directly (even if you enlarged the centerbore to fit over the Q's hub).

Out of all the rims available, I personally would not pick those rims. I think they are a odd match for the body style of the Q45, I like five or six blade aluminum rims inset by a few inches. I guess its what ever look you are going for (with after market rims), I like a sporty race look instead of the original luxry base conception of Infinitys design. I think it would be horrible if all cars looked the same, I like modification to personalize and stylize each individual car to bring out what ever aspect of your car that your going for.
