I noticed recently we had an influx on members with active suspensions on their Q45's.

I am kinda curious who all here has an activeQ45?

Please sign in.

Count me in:1991 Infiniti Q45a - Black - 129kSeattle

Don't post very often but review new postings a couple times a week. Probably would not have bought the Q if I didn't find this site first even w/ the smokin deal I got.

The active is currently anything but  Did the plenum and intake runner cleaning and the under plenum hose (all of them) swap last weekend. Fuel pump is this weekend and the chain guides were already done. Will probably scrap all the active components and go non so if there are any leads pls post em.

Sweet looking 91 bro. No "a" on the tail emblem?

Looks lowered a bit or is it just larger wheels filling up the wheel wells I see?

...I've been driving company cars this last year, an Acura RL and Mercedes Kompressor. No comparison, but I can't complain too much since they're free. The Q's plenum has been off for almost a year now. Took it apart one weekend and got the unexpected company car the next. Oops! That one weekend project got put off a little longer than expected.

I'm back at it. I've been replacing rubber, wires and sensors for the last few weeks. The memory of that V8 shoving me back into the seat has got me motivated again. No more car payments helps too. The Death Machine will be back on the road soon...

A few minor problems now and then, but reliable all through. I now have an intermittent overheating problem. Occurs at 85+ MPH or on hot days if cruising below 45. Could be radiator.

I've got a '94 Q45a, and mine doesn't have the "a" badge on the rear either for whatever reason.

91 q45a. "the malage" 136k. Artic white/Moda wheels (16"). Condition 8/10. A/C out. Battery dead. Oh well -- resting in drive-way -- too hot to drive -- don't want to sell. Waiting to drive in the fall.
