Does anyone know if a 17x8 wheels with a +.38 offset will work on a Q45

I'm running TSW Imola on my Q which are 17 x 8. I don't know the offset, but the Stillen/Brembo big brakes fit in them.

The tires are 245/45's. I've used Firestone Firehawk SZ50's, (originals), Sumitomo HTZ II and now Bridgestone Potenza RE730. Of these, I thought the Firestone's were the best - really stuck in the corners. The Bridgestone's are good, but not quite as good as the 'Stones. The Sumitomo was not in the same league as the others, a much inferior tire with noticably poorer handling.

I'll probably go back to something stickier next time, perhaps Yokohama's.

Anyone had experience going up to 255/45 (or 40).

By the way, when I got my car it had the original Michelin's on them, (with the stock 15" wheels). That was one of the worst tires I've ever used; they were downright scary in the wet.
