Q45 Wheel swap

I did a search and came up with the following wheels sizes...

2002

17" x 7.5" 40mm18" x 7.5" 40mm

2003 and 2004

17" x 7.5" 40mm18" x 7.5" 35mm

2005

17" x 7.5" 35mm18" x 7.5" 40mm18" x 8.0" 35mm

2006

17" x 7.5" 35mm18" x 7.5" 35mm18" x 8.0" 40mm19" x 8.5" 40mm

I am looking at a 2004 Q with the 17 inch wheels that look like twinkies duct taped together.... I am looking for a more appealing and sporty wheel. Will any of the wheels above work on the Q? Are the mm measurements the bolt patter? If so that means i need to find a 40mm bolt pattern wheel?

The mm figure is the offset. Match the offset and width and you'll be fine. The bolt pattern is 114.3.

Then it should be noted the chrome Premium wheels in 2004 were also 18x8, 35mm presumably.

So does that mean the main difference in all the q45 rims besides the rim diameter is the 5mm offset difference? does 5mm offset make a big difference at all?

I found these measurements for the acura mdx wheel

MDX 01-on 17x7.5 5x114.3 12mmX1.5 70.3

seems like they may work... offset is supposed to be 35-40 depending on the wheel
