People assume that because they don't speed they don't need V,Z rated tires what they don't understand is that the speed rating is a durability rating also. V,Z tires out stop S, T tires by a wide margin in dry and wet due to internal rigidity and tread design.
So true - This should be required reading for anyone prior to walking into a tire store.
Tire sellers should be held equally liable - They'll sell anything to anyone.
Why a dumba$$ kid can walk into a store and buy cheap 185/70/13's with whitewalls for his '84 Caprice BUT he can't buy a Glock without a waiting period is beyond me.
