the centercaps on my wheels were starting to become an eyesore with the clearcoat coming off in blotches like so many Infinitis with the turbine wheels.after not being able to swallow the almost 200 dollar replacment cost,I bought a 6 dollar can of paint stripper and removed the remaining clearcoat and resprayed with clear from a 3 dollar rattle can from the auto parts store.final results look like new.hopefully this will help others on the board with similar needs.

Great advice none the less! I've noticed a lot of center cap problems on the turbines... good cheap fix! You can repaint 22 times before you break even with new parts... assuming it's not that often you win!
