There was one on ebay about a year or so ago. I wanna say it was down in the AZ/NM area. The pic on ebay had it setting in front of a plane and some girlies leaning on it??

Anyone recall anymore specifics?

My Q has an extra oem "5" = Q455.........wishful to remind me to keep focused on a 5 speed AT conversion..........that will never happen?.............with a few numbers Q45 becomes 444, 454, 455, 55, 554,555, Q300, Q200, QX555

It is actually against EPA rules [Clean Air Act 1990] to install a engine larger or not native to the Q........but as we know only high profile cases get jail time.

They just ignore those 2.4 > 2.0L turbo as a downsize in idle or cruising pollution VOLUME.

But a 7.5L in a car designed for 4.5L might just angier some inspector enough to punish you for consumming too much fuel.

Dennis - If this was built as a "race purpose" car wouldn't that circumvent the EPA rules?

Of course, what would be the fun of have a Q45 with the new QX56 motor if you couldn't take it on the street??

This brings up something I was thinking about.....

what about putting a VK engine into our G50s??? Then maybe we could use the 5 speed AT.....
