OK here's the problem.

I need a Z32 MAF and I was looking to trade a Q45 Tbody for it.Tbody is too big for me.But someone has a Q45 MAF they are willing to trade.

The Q45 MAF is supposed to be bigger, but the Z32 is supposed to have better resolution. (Not sure if thats true)

I've already got a Rom tuned ECU for a RB20, with the following specs:14psi - Rb25 Turbo550cc injectorsNo speed limiterRaised Rev to 8200Z32 MAF

Can I wire in a Q45 MAF without having any problems??(my guess is NO. But I don't really know)

No the Q45 maf and Z32 are very different. The Q45 is bigger yes but is good for about 100hp less or so.

Since you already have a tuned ECU, you have to get the Z32 maf.

Thats why Im getting nistune, then I can change my setup any time and no mailing out my ecu.

Sounds like he wants to trade a Q45 throttle body for a Z32 MAF...

Yeah I did trade someone a Q45 Tbody for a MAF.Too big for what I need.

For sure a Q45 MAF on a ecu programmed for a Z32 MAF will not run correctly.

i had a chance to get a q45 maf for CHEAP but opted out of the idea for a few reasons, one the hp limit is lower on them and 2 they are physically bigger thus would have me to redo my intake pipe for it. just get the z32. if u dont and u keep modding your car, you will have to get one anyways

Yeah I ended up going with the Z32 MAF.It should be here by the end of the month.

Plus changing my intake would of been a PITA.

The Z32 MAF is the same size and MAF adapter as the RB20 right???

Now if I could get the damn 6th cyl firing.I'd be ok.

sooo... the q45 maf will not allow you to make more hp than a z32 maf??? hw is that, i thought the q45s would allow more hp output over the z32.

reason being i was going to run a blow thru setup on my new build. trying to obtain atleast 700+whp. so if the q45 won't do it then will I need a maf from a cobra??? or should i just switch to a MAP sensor??
