I saw this awesome factory promotion video what was about 8-9 minutes long comparing the Q45 to several other cars. The website where I viewed this had it taken down due to stupid Youtube rules. Does anybody have a copy of this awesome video?

Never did see that video back in the day. I was a big fan of the Q back in those days and was always amazed more people didn't figure out what a great car it was. Especially compared to the LS400 which was solid but so boring and not at all a drivers car. My dad had a 1990 LS400 that he switched for a 1992 Q45 and he hands down liked the Q much better. He had (unfortunately) a ton of issues with both cars but he (fortunately) had aftermaket warranties that paid for themselves 10x over on both cars.

After recently driving a M35 Hybrid I still didn't get the sense of size and luxo that the Q was made to give. Don't get me wrong, I would trade my Q in a heart beat for that M35, it is a little rocket, handles nice, has such cool electronics, but Infiniti does need to build the big 7 series/LS460 fighter again.

This video would have been really cool if they did a completely anonymous test where they did not say who was sponsoring the event. However, I think the comments from the ladies was a good indicator of how good the car was!

I thought the m56/m56x was a nice contender for the luxury giants. The problem is you never see one on the road. Hell, you can barely find them on craigslist. Only time i saw one was at infiniti of shrewsbury when i was dropping off construction materials. The whole lot had two.

That is not true on the west coast, there a lots of M37's, M45, and now M56's. I drove the M35 hybrid because I want my next car to get 30MPG and still be fast and cool. I love the car and the size is really acceptable, but it isn't the type of size my Dad's LS460 had (he drove it for 2 years and returned it on lease). I just think that Infiniti needs the 7 Series fighter.

My local dealership must have had 50 M's of various models and colors, so seems like they are bigger in the west.

Agree, Infiniti needs a true full size flagship to be taken seriously as a luxury brand. Those cross shopping the LS460, BMW 7, Audi A8,etc dont have anything remotely comparable to consider at the infiniti store. The M is really a mid level model, made to compete with the midsize{and mid priced} bmw 5 series, Audi a6, and lexus GS .

There are plenty of G & M models buzzing around here, of course I only live 1.5 miles from the Infiniti dealer,so I would hope to see plenty of them!

Never seen that video before, but the Q does handle amazing- most in part I would think. Because it shares the almost exact same rear end layout as my 240sx aside from the aluminum casters, diff and drive axels. Other then that all the control arms are the exact same.
These cars have less understeer whitch is always good.
