Q45 Turn Signal Fast Blink

I have a 90 Q45 with an interesting (make that annoying) problem. During normal operation, both turn signals pulse at the same rate. When the right side is on and the brakes (meaning brake lights) are applied, they pulse slightly faster. If the parking lights are on and the right signal is on, they pulse very fast. The left side has no difference

I have swapped all the lamps from one side to another with no change. The emergency flashers are OK with a normal pulse rate.

Any ideas?

Mine had a funky flash due to corroded contacts on the front light bulb.

You are a wise person. The connections on the right side front bulb were not bad but one of the wires to was pinched. I clipped out the crushed part and all is in proper order. No more embarrassing quick blinks.

Now next, in your bag of tricks, can you change plastice chain guides into metal ones without opening the engine? ;>}

Sure! Just feed the parts into the oil filler and they'll find their places by themselves.
