Mohd is a very reputable guy in the Supra world. I've never heard of anybody who was unhappy after doing business with him. I've never bought anything from him, but he was very quick with info and quotes when I inquired about stuff. However, I'm not sure this product would do much for you on a Q45. At a minimum, you'd need a lot of dyno time to figure out what adjustments work and what don't. Even then, I'd be surprised if you made much power. Improving fuel maps and ignition timing curves on a relatively stock car isn't something the average DIY type is capable of. I've seen 3D plots of timing/fuel maps from several cars, and a lot of the peaks and dips are far from obvious. Just leaning it out and adding timing probably isn't going to result in a meaningful increase in power.

Can't get blood out of a turnip.....well not red blood anyway!

All fine tuning can do is remove the factory built in safety..........once you hit 75 lb/ft per liter [or 1.23 lb/ft per ci] you are pretty much there with a 3.66" bore.

Corrected for altitude 3% less per 1000' AMSL at 68F.

The 90-93 Q motor just touches this number [337 lb/ft] [327 in Atlanta] at 4,100 rpm with a JWT ecu upgrade any other mods don't affect this or make it worse.

Exhaust or intake changes don't do much till around 6,000 rpm and above and the acceleration time till shift is so fast you can feel a thing different.

You CAN lean the mixture enough to melt the pistons in 15 seconds, You CAN advance the timing enough so that the knock sensor cause enough retard to negate all the timing advance [and MORE] and significantly slow things down.

Think: 10% less fuel and 10% more timing just before redline and progressively less as you slope down to 5500-6000.

" a lot of the peaks and dips are far from obvious."

They sure are and they change with air temperature and humidity and head temperature [coolant].

The other problems are how much have the cams worn [from new] and how much has your individual motor stretched the chains retarding both the exhaust and intake cams plus are both banks the same.????

Obviouysly a one size fits all chip [EPROM reprogram] will have variations and differences on different motors of the same year and mileage...............but if they [JWT] say 30 lb/ft you can be assured that you'll get 25 at least..........maybe more than 30 if the moon and stars align on your motor..............obviously if your compression is below spec you can still get the 10% above what ever it was before the change.
