I baby Layla mostly. Just when an M3 is riding my but, I had to give him a run.

My goal, is to get another 50K out of the tranny, and another 200k out of the enigne. We will see.

417,000 is a good goal.....I know lots of people that have got high 300's out of Jap cars.

Yes, I just put new tires on her, and had the tranny flushed and the filter changed. The black one is in waiting. I just bougth a car cover for her.

Wow!!! 3 tranny's with the exact same problem. All I remember is something about the valve body failing or not lubricating. Sorry I can't help you out more. ya might want to explore putting in a 90-93 tranny for the better first gear acceleration if you have to do a tranny swap.

I lost reverse as well at 112k. Got the trans rebuilt and it hasnt felt the same since. I miss my old car.

you should add a pint bottle of LUBE GUARD (the RED bottle) to your tranny fluid. It will eleminate the chatter/shudder. Lube Guard is absolutely the BEST lubricant for clutches that have to make smoothly.

If you have chatter/shudder on a shift, you should add a pint bottle of LUBE GUARD (the RED bottle) to your tranny fluid. It will eleminate the chatter/shudder. Lube Guard is absolutely the BEST lubricant for clutches that have to make smoothly.

Got the ATF changed. Runs like a champ. Maybe ill thought some lube guard in just for the hell of it.

92 Q45 broke at 75kremanned tranny broke at 100k apprently due to clogged factory heat exchanger.

New tranny got tranny cooler rite at install.
