OK I have another question to add to my previous topic. Does anyone know the telephone # to T3 in atlanta so I can give them a call? I cant find them in the yellow pages or online. Or if you know of another shop in or around atlanta that is good and trustworthy to take my car to.

Bit of front office confusion at T3 [South Cobb] as we are in process of changing service writer - day manager.

They tend to go somewhat bonkers after 3 years of dealing with customers [T3 is not unusal as it happens at dealers everyday]...... When they start bringing chain saws to work and start cleaning their big hunting knives at their desk.

Just kidding [hope] previous workers don't take offense.

Just that service writers get blamed by customer for breaking all the bad news [costs to repair] of the pieces of junk they purchased.

Then there are the scam customers......ever since you worked on my car.

Unlike dealers T3 doesn't pay service writers/techs for what they sell or upsell. All are salaried. Any pressure to perform is mostly self imposed vs worrying about how much you will make this week as occurs at dealers.

Techs do get 25 cents per can of BG product used but that comes directly from BG..........what those orange disks are in the bottom of each can.

Not really much over incentive to push the product.......25 cents.

Always discuss work with Byron [the tech who will do the work] as newbie service writers usually don't have a clue about the exact chain guide process.

This new one could be better, as he was a tech in a previous life.
