Hi everyone,
I am curious as to if anyone knows if all generations of the q45 came with the same throttle body even if the engines were different.

Thank,
Ryan

:welcome: to NICO!

90-96 are essentially the same... 90mm outside diameter. After 94 or 95 the design of the TPS sensor and sub sensor were slightly different. 97-01 are smaller cable driven units... after that they were servo driven drive-by-wire setups.

90-96 all have the same bore and bolt pattern. After that they're substantially smaller and may have a different bolt pattern. Not sure on the bolt pattern for sure though.

If you're shopping for one, keep in mind that the TCS versions had a different design, because a secondary throttle body bolted on to the primary one. So it's not that easy to hook an intake tube up to a TCS version. They would still have the same bolt pattern where it connects to the intake though...
