Has anyone done this? I heard something about FWD CA lower manifold and making a plentum to fit the Q45 TB...Would this be a really big improvement over the stock TB or would be detrimental to performance?

The Q45 has a huge 90-100mm throttle body that is definitely over-kill for this motor and it's T25.

use a KA24DE one...slightly larger and free! (assuming you have a KA in there now!) bolts right up...

Just wondering for when I do top-mount T3 and 550cc injectors...

overkill is right, very few people run larger TBs, and when they do, it doesn't need to be the biggest thing you can find,

like was said teh KA24 one works nicely, bolts up, and is a WHOLE lot cheaper,
