dont need to use the z32 tb

i think your making some kind of connection in your head for these parts that isnt there. not really related like u think they are.

and while at it, alot of people will say that the q45tb is too much, stick with stock

there is no order of pairing parts... either configuration of maf and tb can be used - its what manages your air/fuel is how you controll the variation from the stock setup.

90mm tb is really only needed if you are using an aftermarket intake mani. even at that, isnt the stock tb 80mm ??

i have the greddy IM. so i got a Q45 TB, and while i was at it, i got a Q45 maf from the guy. anybody know what the limit is on a Q45 maf?? i dont think it meters as much air as a Z32 maf, but i cant remember. all i know is that i should be good until i upgrade the turbo.

Make sure what ever Tb you use you adjust the TPS for the 25 ECU. My TPS on the stock RB25 motor straight off the Boat was 1.25 ohms fully closed (FSM spec is .4) Q45 stock is set at .7 Makes a big difference on how the cars run

It's actually volts not ohms. I see the Q45 FSM reference table lists the specs as ohms but if you check the the graph on page EF & EC-13 it's correctly listed as Volts... odd.

i see, so it's okay to put the stock RB25's TB on the greddy Intake manifold, and that won't affect the z32 MAF right? Thanks guys

i think you have to get a plate from greddy for the stock TB to bolt up. many people get the Q45 TB because its a direct bolt on.

i see, as for the greddy intake manifold, where would I be able to buy the gaskets for it??? because it doesn't come with them

lol, the reason why I made this tread is to find out if I could use the Q45 TB on my Greddy Intake manifold along with the Z32 MAF.

TB has nothing to do with the maf. You can go with any TB or maf you want provided the ecu can read them properly.
