Q45 Steering wheel vibration

I've a 99 Q45 with about 101k miles and i noticed a vibration in the steering wheel at highway speeds. The steering wheel also tilts slightly to the right.

I'm no expert but the mechanic I spoke to mentioned that it could be worn bushings, control arm, etc.

Could it be that or just wheel balance?

Don't know. How about a breif maintenance history? Ever had a 4 wheel alignment? How did the suspension components look when you inspected them? Are the tires and wheels round within specification?

Need more information when car can't be driven or inspected over the internet.
