Q45 STEERING VERY LOOSE

The steering on my 92q45 feels very loose at highway speeds. i had a problem with the high pressure hose and replaced it last week. Now the steering feels very scary at high speeds. i thought the q gave less power at higher speeds to reduce wheel movement. does anyone have an idea of the problem may be? thanks

The q SHOULD be very stable. If not--wheel alignment, loose rack mounts, worn tie-rods, etc. Something is not right under there. Gotta take a look and see what it is.
