Hey everyone I’m new to the forum and was wondering if anyone have an answer for the issue I’m starting to have. I have a 2002 Q45 and I’m starting to have a little starting issue with it. I have had to turn the key a few times before the engine would turn over. All the accessories will come on but the motor will not crank until the 3rd or 4th try, any ideas?

I'm by no means a mechanic but here's a list to check:

Battery cranking amps
starting relay
brake switch
park/neutral switch
starter/solenoid

I've check everything except the starter solenoid and relay, so I will check them out. Thanks.

In addition to the above, make sure the battery voltage is 12.5 VDC or higher. You may have a weak battery that needs replacement. A fully charged battery must have >12.6VDC.
