q45 speedo question plus remote entry help

Hello Everyone,

I have a 94 Q45 with 75,000 some odd miles on it. Recently the odometer stopped working all the time. The trip odometer (digital) still works as normal but the analog odometer in the speedo gauge quit only works about half the time. Sometimes it will count, and other times it doesn't move.Does anyone know what could be the problem and if I can fix it. If not, can you tell me what years the speedo's were the same so I can replace it with a used one (on ebay there are a few from '91 Q45's that I could pick up cheap if they will replace the one I have). I figured I could open the new used speedo and steal parts, or just reset the new used one to the mileage my original says and install it in place of the old one.

Also, just got a new remote entry fob for my car and need to know how to program it into the car so it works.

P.S. I'm also having a loud hum coming from behind the back seat. I'm guessing the fuel pump is making it. Does this mean it's going bad and should be replaced, or is there an adjustment that can be made to help. It's been doing it for quite awhile and doesn't seem to cause any problems other than the noise.

THe odometers sometimes fail on the Qs... I have a used instrument cluster from a 94 id sell.. Just roll the miles back to where you are...... The 9093 and 94+ are not interchangeable...

your fuel pump is going bad..... REPLACE ASAP!
