I use

NGK 2300 PFR5B-11 Double Platinum Spark Plug

The price at SparkPlugs.com seems high compared to the online dealers we recommend.

Double Platinum is the factory recommended.. Most long time owners on here use the NGK double platinum. I put some of the Iridiums on my Q when I first got it -- then soon afterward needed to reseal the valve covers (RTV), replace injectors, timing chain guides, hoses, knock sensors, and etc.

I figured since I was spending over $3,000 on parts to make everything under the plenum and around the engine like new, why let a few bucks on plugs stand in the way of having it be all original. So I went with the PFR5B-11. I found the online dealers (that are our sponsors) had the best deal over parts store prices.

5 is the hottest and 7 is the coldest heat range plug. Usually most times one would run a 6 for the heat range to be safe.
Here is a link to NGK.

I bought 4 (NGK PFR5G-11) and 4 (NGK PFR6G-11), they are all in great shape and only cost me just under $6. Can I install these together...

I wouldn't mix and match heat ranges. I think IoS prices are about $60 for a set of 8 which is unbeatable.
