yeah i like vip but i prefer to pick a camber setting and then buy wheels that flush rather than get 20x10 -30 offset from classified and then hammering the body to fit and running a random camber setting. i like it proportional.

imagine a ferrari or a lambo with random wheels... id rather just measure what flushes at the stock setting and do it from there...

say if i want a flying saucer look 5-6degs camber then i'd choose a set camber setting and then measure to +- 5mm width/offset.

i really dont know why people buy wider wheels in theback and then pull... when they can just get it to fit perfectly since they buy wheels brand new anyways... or go wide fenders... buying wheels used i can understand the pulling but brand new...

the silver car is pretty clean but the rear looks a bit sunk. still nice though
I agree, and my point was to show someone how the Z33 Track wheels look (from a flushness standpoint) on a Q45. I'm not sure the one side really has that much camber, it may look like more, b/c of the anlge of the parking lot. I've got some more stuff going on soon (adj ten rods, 255/40 N-Zero, 245/40) and I'll get things squared away then.

To each his (or her) own...

Why all the hate? If it makes someone happy and it's not hurting (personal safety, if it's hurting your eyes, look away) anyone else who cares? Personally slammed/pimped/VIP look is not to my taste but I won't hold it against anyone it that's what they like. Don't see them hating on us for looking stock do you?

Let's face it, conformity is boring!

I also must state that VIP is definitely NOT gay as I used to live in West Hollywood for years and did not see any of my alterantive lifestlye neighbors driving such cars. They seemed to preffer late model Porsches, BMWs (non VIP). The Russian community was/still is/may always be big on VIP. The Orthodox Jews - well I would always see them walking - when driving I did not see them in anything resembling VIP.

I would argue that VIP is "hetero" rather than "h0m0".

For me, this "VIPStyle" of modifying cars is kinda an absurd concept - stretched tires on overly wide wheels, camber problems galore, lowering springs, rolled fenders and ultra-tall wheels? I shudder when I see these pictures! Surely no self-respecting, true Very Important Person would be caught in something like these (what I see in this and other similar threads) cars.

I guess I visualize something like the following when I think of a "VIP car" :

Oh, well ... to each their own, I suppose! I am not "hating", by the way ... just stating my old-fogey point of view, I suppose!

If VIP style = cars so low they can't be driven and Mexican gangsta offset wheels so wide they don't fit without an absurdly stretched tire and a fender roll so ugly you'd think an inbred redneck came up with the idea while getting a rim job from his cousin then yes, VIP = gay.VIP style is about hooking up luxury, no? Give me an appropriately lowered M5 rolling on some iForged polished 19" F 20" R Imola's or Seneka's. Form and function...imagine that.

Yeah, it is.

VIP is about having big classy sedans with a **** ton of wheel lip, tucking down to the rim. (IE, they are show cars than take more thought than the "ugh will these FNs clear the shock" and "Eibachs... they make your super slammed 1.2in down is crazy low" USDM tight peices of **** I've seen at every show I've ever been to in my life. The professionally done ones look 500000 times better than a super "sunk wheels = preformance" M5...

Fabulous F430

Q45s weigh what? 4800?... yeah... being super low is all thats holding it back from being a race car.

Your about 1000lbs off...

Ill post a few pics of my Q with the Z33 wheels... Rex's camber is not correct (probabyl about -2 or more). I have -1.5 and they look great.

That's a pretty bad 430 but I'm iffy about the wheels.

The majority of "VIP" cars I've seen don't have a lip on the wheels either...they look like giant AMG Mercedes wheels from the 80's to me. This is going by TAS photos over the past many years.

Dori Dori - please stop calling things that are absurdly "hetero" "Gay" - the majority of GAY people (at least the guys) have much more sophistocated taste!

From hence forth I propose one say - "That's soo Hetero!" as this is much closer to the truth.
