Well, it helps to have a history of using them for service, even if it is an oil change. One must have a rapport, as there is no real incentive for the service writer to help someone he has never seen before and offer a service for which he will not be paid.
Another approach is to ask who the senior Infiniti technician is as you are contemplating a purchase and want hiim in particular to inspect it. Define a Senior Infiniti Technician as one who was originally teined in 1989 on the G50 at introduction, if a G50 is what you are purchasing. The subject of dealer service history soon follows.
