q45 seat reclined, and is stuck

One night my drivers seat reclined by itself on my 90 Q45 ,and is now stuck. Everything else works.
The switch clicks in one direction, and not the other way.
It had been raining hard. What are the chances that my switch went dead??.
If the switch is bad, can I reverse polarity to get the seat up ?

First time I've heard of this happening... If you haven't looked at your factory service manual, it's available at www.infinitiservicemanual.com

I think 1991 is the earliest one listed, so it'll reference a slightly different switch design - but it should be close enough.
