My 1994 Q45 has liquid filled bushings on the sway bars. What are the advantages/disadvantages to the liquid filled bushings? And are these easily replaced with tradional poly or rubber ones?

Sure you dont mean tension rods?

Silicon filled bushings are more compliant with smoother transitions at impact.

You're looking at the tension rod bushings.

Replacements can be purchased from any of our OEM parts sponsors (Midway, Scottsdale, Mossy, Pinnacle) already pre-loaded in the rods.

Replacing with a hard compound might make sense, but transmits a lot of harshness that you may not want.

as always stated harshness is subjective; to me w/my q, all bushings replaced w/solid metal or urathane is not harsh but i used to be a Mustang guy.

I think poly or NISMO rubber would be the way to go, imho
