Brand new tires all around and fresh alignment too.Combined with the new Togikos and upper links the car is steering/handling pretty well.
In the front I have 2 Sumitomo HTRZ's in 245/45 ZR17's.In the back I went with Kumho Ectsa 712's in 245/40 ZR 18's.
In-Stock tire availablity, especially in the hard-to-find 18 inch size, precluded me from matching all 4 tires.
But they are smiliar tires in stickiness, speed rating and application.

Michael (aka altima2000 something) Miranda (his gf) and myself.Joel aka gsr557 would ahve come if he hadnt been busy w/ work.
I figured if I make the trip anyway why not have others ride with, gas cost to me will be same, but others get free NYC trip out of it.:angel
Here is a pic of the car in question:http://www.nissaninfiniticlub....age=2
What made this trip especially joyful was:New or nearly New:
-Brand new Z rated perfoamnce tires all around 245/45 -ZR 17's and 245/40-ZR18's on rear.-Steering rack bushings-Tokico Blues all around (to back up the Eibachs)-Upper Links up front-front swap bar bushings-tie-end rods-brand new alignment
and a few other suspension things I currently don't remember.:dunce
In the entire year I owned this car, it had never handled and tracked this well before.
It literaly felt to me, like I was driving a '04 from the dealers lot.
After a few hundred miles out of Louisville we hit some bad weather in the Appalachians and I cursed my idea to wear summer performance tires all around and wondered if I shouldnt have had to put my set of winter shoes 235/60-15 all seasons back on.
but I felt I didnt have time to do that before leaving town and I really hadn't expected snow storms in April anyway.
So we wasted 6 hours sleeping in the car in the mountains until the weather cleared up a bit,
Got into NYC around 11 am (after leaving Louisville at 6:30- pm the previous day).Temperatures during the entire trip were lower than I would like for my summer performance tires to grip properly (hi 30's to 50F), so we generally kept speeds lower.
On the way back we hung out in NYC until 2 pm .Traffic was snarl buit I was real pleased I had managed to avoid all the worst potholes in NYC by taking a different route in/out than I usually do.
I usually take 95/495 this time I took 78/278..
The trip back was pretty hard core, 13 hours and 2 tickets later we arrived in Louisville at 3 am local (4am with the time change)
On the last leg of the trip I drove the 22.5 gallon tank of the Q to almost empty.Filled it up and then drove some more.
