Did some things to the Q. Almost ready to come home so I can start the 5-Speed swap yay she will be on the lift for all of christmas! Hopefully the front half of the Z driveshaft will bolt up I really don't want to have a driveshaft made just yet. Should have some pics of the clutch pedal installed by the end of next week!!

That car looks like its in good cosmetic condition. Good pickup!

And definitely keep us posted on the 5-speed conversion, I'm sure you're not the only one interested in it.

rear replacement door is from later 94-96Q-how are you going to manage the different moldings and the different stamping of that area to match front door?

It was from a 91 well that is what the car had written on it I think it just looks odd because of the white moulding to the graphite but I'm going to look tomarrow noticed that too when I was posting pics but not when I was hanging the door But I was planning on getting rid of the moulding all together. Ya the 5-speed conversion is going to be fun. I'm going to make a 300zx trans bellhousing and hopefully the trans mount lines up, I really didn't want to use a marrage plate. But after I'm done perfecting the vh to z bell housing I'm going to make a mold and start to cast them and sell a Q45 conversion kit that comes with everything, one pice driveshaft, bellhousing, and trans mount probably for around $700. So plan on this kit as an option after this summer.

So, your Q will have a 5-Speed auto or manual?

If it's a 5-Speed Auto, you've become my new hero. It's what I've always wanted.

Been done in England. Might want to check the VH/VK forum and just get the drawings from Dixon and have it CNC manufactured here.

Aww. Oh well. Good luck. Hopefully someone figures out an automatic 5 speed option for the Q.

I thought Dixon just made a marrage plate or is that the person that welded a flange on the back of the vh bellhousing and cut out a clutch fork hole??? It was in the white vh powered r31??

Wow, so you basically put a car together at the yard from 4 other cars! Props to your dedication! In the yard near my house, there is always at least 1 g50 to take parts from.

Ya it kind of helps that I have a job there now since before when I asked for G50 parts they would deny even having any unless you were willing to pay $$$$ . The only pad thing is that the other peral white G50 they have there the front bumper was like plasma cut which was gay and that is why I had to go with the black one but it is all good.
