hey I bought my Q used but it didnt come with a remote im assuming that its lost do the 1999 Q45s come with factory alram and keyless entry? it has the security light. if the doors are locked with the windows open and they are opened manually from the inside the alarm goes off so it has the system i guess am i right? and for the second part i want this remote is it possible to program it with the old system or should i go to my dealer and ask?

i found the pic on ebay....

oh and this weekend im going to change my pads to ceramic im thinking about taking my muffler off to see how it roars is it going to be too loud considering i have a ported intake which roars with evearything closed?

Yes, it comes with a remote. Pay attention to the FCC codes.

Ported heads? Reeeaaaallly? Pictures? Not much gain with the stock log manifolds, I bet.

If you have stock pads, they are already ceramic.

So why do they feel like their done and making contact noise? it feels like its down to the bolts like normal brakes? is it the no wear ceramic? Or the stock ones have to be replaced after a while mine has 93000 miles of wear and tear? im new to the Q to be honest and that smart key remote should work i assume from what you said right?and its not ported heads. the intake box gets the air only from the ram air scoops from the front so since i have K&N i can afford to have my filter get dirty. So what i did was open up a port on the intake box on the side where its a step that comes down. it has a 1" drop so now i have a 1" by 7-8" port on the side of my intake box it sounds great almost sounds like running with cold air or your intake box open which sounds preatty sick but not good for the car but you do feel a little difference in power its worth doing since its free to do and a new airbox cap from the junk yard goes for 15$ so = ]
