Ive searched and read the faq about the type of lsd's that work in the 240 but it doesnt say if the Q45 reat will bolt right up for sure... so can someone please tell me if it will bolt right into an s13? If only certain years can bolt right up can you tell me what years they are?... and if you need any modifications done to any of the Q lsd's i would also like to know what they would be....

This is not guaranteed accurate...but...

'97-01 Q45 use a 3.69:1 R200 diff...it will fit your S13/S14 by using '92-94 J30 5-bolt axles, and changing the input flange on the nose of the diff with your open diff input flange.

Again...I've seen pics, looked at them in the junkyard, etc...just haven't done it or seen it done in person.

Once I do, and confirm that this works...then I'll update my page:

Why would you want to go with a taller ratio?

It's going to kill your launch, the car will feel slower.

Also, output shafts and axles are different. 90-96 Q45 uses a 6-bolt.

yeah, im just gona keep looking for the j30 lsd. i had to take an hour drive to a salvage yard where i was told there was a few j30's but i got there an they were all gone an all they had was a q45. So i guess ill just wait a little more Thanks guys
