Q45 project progressing nicely...

Just picked up 4 primo G35, 18" wheels & tires in Chicago yesterday.

Chain guide kit arrived this a.m. - Those guys in Scottsdale have their *hit together! I highly recommend doing business w/ them. I'm headed to see Squee when he can fit me in!

As I see it right now. My '92Q needs struts at each corner, shorter springs, tension rods, steering rack boots, rear swaybar, subframe bushings, AC compressor, thermostat, sub-plenum hoses, valve cover gaskets, injectors, transmission cooler, sunroof switch and front seats. Also looking at DVD navigation unit sometime down the road.

I see at least 80% of that business going to Joe and Squee.

One question - has anyone moved their battery to the trunk? Any tips or tricks?

Probably don't need shorter springs.

You probably do need all the rubber in the suspension replaced.

Optimas work well in the trunk also.

Is there a battery kit available for the Q? I'm headed out to go get an Optima this afternoon. I will install in the stock location until I can get a kit for this.

I do have access to some 1/0 and 2/0 welding cable....
