I finished up putting my Q back together last night but I couldn't get her started. The car had been sitting for a week while I was out of town and last night I had to raise the plenum to seat a small coolant hose that I had not connected, and I looked over all the cables and hoses to verify they were in place. When I first attempted to start her the battery was dead, and even with a jump start all that would happen was that it would turn over but not even attempt to start. I was not smelling fuel, but I could smell the cleaner that I used to clean the plenum.

Any ideas on what I may have overlooked or first steps to troubleshoot this?

Did you remove any fuses or fusible links before beginning work? Does the fuel pump prime when you first turn the key to ON? Check all your harness connections from the harness that lies along the driver's side head.

Followup: The fuel lines were reversed. Easy fix...
