If someone "were" able to get us the chrome B-pillars (as seen on the JDM Q45 and President), what would a set be worth to you guys?

Just gauging some interest here....

Are you talking about getting the ones seen on the yahoo jp auctions, or having them reproduced.

My answer is yes regardless.

I was actually pleased with the shipping costs for the yahoo jp auctions stuff i got.. Only 75 dollars in shipping fees, and I have a huge box coming..

The plates on the yahoo jp auctions are $250 for both, If I remember correctly...

Ditto.

Actually, I didn't find the pillars, but a company that will plate them for a fee if I can get several pieces.

I'm eager to see how they turn out.

I was checking out where the pillars would go on my 94.. the pillar between the front/rear has some discoloration.

I guess it all depends on price. I'm interested, any idea on a price figure?

I hate to be off topic here, but I'd interested in clear side marker lens as well.

You know, I think Infiniti got this right the first time, especially when the car has the Hüper Optik Stark 30 treatment. The chrome would look seriously tacky.

The chrome B-pillars wouldn't look right w/o the addition of the chrome side mirrors and chrome wheel wells. If you're going to go chrome, go chrome all the way.

You guys are nuts.. It doesn't look tacky at all.. Take a look at a JAG, and tell me if the chrome pillar trim looks tacky.. it comes stock on all XJs..

All it does is add chrome to the two pillars on driver/passanger side.. It's relatively small strip of chrome, very subtle...

Comparing it to the chrome wheel flare trim is nuts.

I agree that the mirrors are critical, but it's NOWHERE near chrome wheelwell trim.

Nasty.

I want the clear markers, if you haven't already heard.

The clear side marker lenses should be about $50 for the kit, that is, if they were for a Honda.

Since there are a LOT fewer 90-96 Q45's out there, it is probably closer to $100, or even more.

Still cheaper than OEM, I'm sure.

Hey, Greg, why don't you find these on those Japanese Auction sites, and add them to the BRM line-up? I am sure clear side marker lights will add 10-15% more HP, than a NICO sticker!

:)

Well, I planned to leave that to Ryan - He's apparently got the hookup for all the JDM goods and a shipper, so I'll let him respond.

Hopefully they'll be more affordable than that.
