How about something on super hicas cars? Many peoples first realisation when it comes to hicas is much like mine was. The hicas lite comes on and they wonder "what the hell is hicas mean?" Its something that isn't there currently which is surprising considering it was a performance option and the drivers of these cars are usually performance people.Another thing perhaps would be to explain how groundbreaking and unique the car was in 1990. I had a conversation with a buddy last night about how the guy that designed many engines for Ferrari was hired to design the vh45de. This being the first production Japanese V8 they wanted to get it right. As a result the car had many parts only found in race cars of the time and even now(I.E Ferrari). I often look at our beloved #&%*ing Plenum and think how much it looks like plenums designed Ferrari, which makes sense considering it was penned by the same guy. How many other cars had sodium filled valves, aluminum blocks and cylinders machined within 1/10,000 of an inch and put out 300+ hp? As much as we all hate the leather in the early Q's it was actually the finest leather on earth. If you ever get in a Rolls,Bently,Ferarri etc. you'll notice its stiff, just like the Q. You'll also notice the leather has no flaws, no creases, barbed wire gashes on the hide etc. Ive forgotten now but I remember reading it took some insane amount of cows for each car. They wanted hides free of any defects. There's a lot of other things that people that bought the car in 1990 could inform you of even more. From what I understand the buyers were given a little education and loads of literature on the making of the car including a beautiful coffee table book detailing some of the things Ive mentioned. Someone who you may want to speak to is Dennis, If Im correct I believe he purchased a Q45t in 1990 new, and if memory serves I believe him once posting he even visited the factory in Japan. Just my 2 cents Wes, if you really want to know the truth I think you've done a wonderful job with Q45.org but Ive also realised its a dynamic web site that you want to make as informative as possible. hope this helps
