We have a 96 Q45 w/a new Clarion 6 disc CD Changer mounted and working perfectly in the trunk - HOWEVER - the damn cover is sized for the older 10 disc Changer unit -

I have gotten a hold of one of the older 10 disc units that will fit the opening in the cover, but the pin outs/connectors are way off -

Is there any hope ? The new harness has the 20 pin connector going directly into the newer, smaller changer - the old 10 disc unit didn't come w/any cables but there appear to be two DIN plugs and a third smaller square connector (power ?) -

I am wondering if the old DIN/Third plug (?) connectors actually hooked straight up into that 20 pin (10 over 10) connector ? Can the pin outs be rigged to allow control from the stock head unit or should I just stick w/the new Clarion changer unit and sell the older 10 Disc Sony unit ?

Thanks in Advance for you thoughts and any info/suggestions -

Mike
