Q45 MAF has 3 wires, while Z32 has 5 wires but can be moded to work on 3 wires.I will look in the fsm of the q45 and see If I can figure out the wiring for you. Why do you want to use Q45 maf? do you have one already handy?

well i tought about using one but here was is final destination

i didnt make my own ecu program and there not a lot of people wanting to tune with it .. they seems to say that its not the a very accurate unit because of its size.

I got one for about half the cost of a Z32 MAF and my power target is withing the Q45 limits. also it's something a little different, gets boring when everyone does the same thing. a list of pin functions on each MAF would be excellent, I can work it out from that point

If you got some dying after hard throttle input be sure to have at least 1 foot or more of straight pipe before the maf .. thats was my trouble with the z32 maf at first .. and with the q45 it should be the same.

I have a Q45 MAF on mine with just over 300 HP and 300 lb/ft at the wheels. I did it because it was cheaper than the Z32 MAF. If I was doing it over, I would NOT use the Q45 MAF. The idle is not near as good as it would be with a slightly smaller MAF. I have gotten it to drive nicely after a ton of time making new chips for the ECU. But it would have been better and easier with the Z32 MAF. It's well worth the extra money.

As for wiring, sorry, I forgot what I did. But I am sure I found it either by searching here or on freshalloy.

Hi Sideways danny,

I have emailed you the foldout pages from the Q45 fsm, which includes the maf and its wiring including their colors.

Good luck,
