Q45 Maf

Does anybody have a wiring diagram for the 96 Q45 MAF. I couldn't find a z32 MAF so i went with this one. Also are there other cars with an air filter that has a MAF adapter that is the same size as the Q45's. I looked around and couldn't find any made specifically for the Q45. From what i saw the F150 Lightning MAF seems to be 90mm which is about the same as the Q45's but i don't know if it would fit

From left to right I think it's +12V, signal, gnd..or something. I had it before but can't remember.

meggala just mentions the Q45 MAF and doesn't go into detail. I couldn't find anything on rb20det.com.

Here's a pic of the wiring. Just guessing i think the white wire is 12v, black is ground and the thicker fancier looking one is the signal. I'll try and pass by the dealership today and see if they'll halp me

i would get rid of the q maf and find a z32 or infiniti j30 maf.

The q45 one was the one that i could find locally and i got a really good deal on it. I just need to get my swap going then maybe find the Z32 one when later when i start upgrading stuff

also, the voltage/airflow is different.

if you replace the q maf with a z maf, the tuning will be wrong. they are not interchangeable.

where did you read that the q45 afm has a lower resolution than the z32 afm?

just so theres no confusion, i got it a little backwards.

its has a higher resolution, but a lower range.

whereas the z32 afm will max at 450-500hp, the q45 maf will max at 350-400.

i was searching for info on this subject a few weeks ago.

Sydney kid stated the q45 maf has a higher resolution. 1 X RB20/25 AFM = 370 bhp = 220 rwkw1 X Z32 AFM = 420 bhp = 260 rwkw2 X RB26 AFM's = 475 bhp = 300 rwkw2 X Z32 AFM's = 700 bhp = 470 rwkw1 X Q45 AFM = 480 bhp = 300 rwkw2 X Q45 AFM's = 850 bhp = 550 rwkw

Looks like someone used the original plug in the pic from above? My q45 maf only has a 3 prong connector so I was planning on doing the same..
