Ok, so I need to upgrade my MAF badly. I did a search on this too...I'm probably gonna order a '92 Q45 maf from someone and he is including the the plug, JWT MAF adapter, and some couplings and reducers. My question is about running it on an SAFCII. To run a Z32 MAF you change the input to 2 and output to 6 (for an S13 redtop). According to the wiring list from Apexi, the Q45 has a sensor type of 1. So do I just change input to 1 and output to 6 and be on my way? That seems to make sense to me, but I want some input in case there is something stupid I can't figure out. I don't wanna blow anything up. Thanks for the help...

yep you got it 1 in 6 out, although Ive heard that people who use this MAF have problems with idle because of its extreme size so if you dont plan on going over 400hp I would stick with the Z32 maf.

what kind of idle problems? I guess I don't really care if it idles high or rough, just as long as it drives. Plus, this guy is including the filter adapter, plug, all the wiring and couplings I need. I don't really wanna have to go through the pain of having to find a plug/harness for the Z32 as well as having to buy/find a filter adapter and all the other random stuff.

I hooked mine up last night and it runs better than my stock KA DOHC MAF ever did with the S-AFC II. 2 in 6 out will "work" but 1in 6out runs the best.

thanks a lot. I'll run it 1in 6out and hook up the 555cc Nismos. 18psi here I come. :ylsuper Just need to scrape together enough money for a Power FC.
