Q45 lsd diff

ok i have a Q45 diff , but i dont want to go out and find the shafts and all that

so can i take the Q45 internals and put it in my stock open diff case and have everything work like its supposed to ?????

the Q45 diff, is an r230v, so no, it will not fit into a stock 240sx open diff housing. i've tried with my spare q45 diff. plus the gearing is lower, so unless you're boosting, you wouldn't be moving much with a q45 final drive

i have a sr20det

and u say its a r230 stock is a r200 and so is the j30

but is it is a r230 as u say , y is it you can use that diff with diffrent shafts? an r230 would be to big , but its ben used?
