Are the rotors the same for the both of them or are they different. I have a set of j30 rotors and want to know if a set of q45 calipers will work with them. Thanks

The Brembo brake rotors for the two cars use the same part #s, so they seem to be identical.

The calipers and pads have different part numbers between the two cars, so I would assume they are different.

the q45 caliper is bigger than the j30 but they are same thing. the only difference is the reservur in the q45 caliper is larger than the j30. I had ony found one source saying that the rotors were the same and wanted to double check it. Thnaks

You are correct. the Q45 calipers are slightly larger, but both the J30 and the Q45 use the same front rotors.

What is the advantage to having a larger fluid reservoir in the caliper?
