I'm almost certain this has been covered but searching isnt bringing anything up for me since the new Nico..

So is the Pop charger for $95 bucks better than the Stillen intake for $129 bucks?

I want the best as this is my Q45 we're talking about and it gets the best.

Whatever i bought the Pop-charger and 5 mobil 1 filters from Everythinginfiniti. I hope the pop-charger is better, at least it was cheaper.

If you're going to get a CAI, it's worthless besides sound UNLESS you make/have made a heat shield for it! They're a must for any CAI IMO.

Tech did a real world temp analysis between the stock airbox & a POP charger. Even at 80 mph(?) there was still a lower temp through a stock airbox.

I think even he said that if you run with NO (!) filter there is even very little restriction in the intake.....

The thing is, engine only flows so much, so whats the point of trying to make it flow MORE if the stock airbox already flows MORE than what the engine can actually flow.....

I will admit i did buy it mostly for the sound, i love hearing that VH45DE. Performance isnt so important for my Q45 as it is on my 240sx, but i do plan on making a heatshield for it and keeping my "air filter area" really clean.

I would like to hear the Q with a straight intake..... I have considered playing with my old airbox to make it a little throatier...

Even the 4.6L northstar sounds "beefier" than the VH45DE...

another factor in me choosing pop charger is the fact that is is dual-conical in design. I mean its got the outter cone and an inner cone instead of just an outter cone.

Hopefully my package arrives by wed or thur and i will update on how i like the sound/performance.
