Q45 Injectors fit the KA

My car was shaking very badly, had horrible acceleration, and torque. I decided to change the spark plugs/wires, air filter, oil/filter, and run some seafoam through the gas tank. I ended up with cleaner oil, a cleaner air filter, cleaner fuel system and new plugs/wires but still had the shakes.

Turned out that my engine decided to play "Lets be a 1.8 liter and run on three cylinders!" My no.3 injector was dead. Not cool.

I told my friend's dad (a mechanic) about it and he just so happened to have some spare (circa 90's) infiniti q45 injectors laying around where he works. He brought them home and whaddya know, they are the same injectors for the KA24DE.

We had one hell of a time getting the dead injector out and ended up drilling it, inserting a screw into it, and pulling it out with a pair of vice grips hahaha. He replaced the O-rings with fresh ones and now my engine is back to its normal state: stock but running like clockwork

So far no leaks. :knocks on wood:

edit: I'm just so happy my car is in good health I had to post this. Plus it was free! Saved 90 bucks.

Great info! Just one more reason for us 240sx guys to stray into the Infiniti side of NICO... hehe.
