Hello everyone!

New to the site, I have a 1995 Q45 and need to change the injectors. I want to replace them but there seem to be 3 main types. No mark, white mark, and black mark.

Nobody i've spoken with (dealers or retailers) have been able to give me a good answer as to the difference between these injectors. They successively get more expensive from no mark, white, to black.

My specific questions are:

1)what are the exact differences between these 3 injector types

2)what are the flow rates for the injectors (I read that the stock ones are 380cc)

Thanks for your guys help, and I've tried the search button and haven't found any answers for these two questions.

Welcome to NICO. The short story on those is that it doesnt matter. The different markings had to do with the spray patterns for the long/short runners. Joe sells only the NO DOT injectors as far as I know and most people just install whatever injectors wherever....

They are all 370cc. Short story is dont worry about it, just grab the injector and slide it in with new O rings.

Thank you so much for the information!

What exactly do you mean by "spray patterns on the long and short runners"?

Early are single pintle and and runners are siamesed all the way to the injector.

Later are rotary disc and the ports are fully oval at the injector.

If you notice where the injector fuel rail bolts to the lower intake manifolds some of them are straight-ish while some of them are kinda longer and curvey. Ive always understood that the different dots were for these.
