OK, I finally got around to checking fuel injectors and found the culprit #3 injector. All were 12 ohms except #3 which was 102 ohms. It looks like I have to take the intake runner to get to it. Has anyone done it themselves? What should I watch out for any special tools? BTW. I have 92 Q45 with TCS.

Thanks,

Young.

Search under the word "plenum" and you will find many posts concerning this procedure.

You'll have to remove the plenum regardless, but make sure it's the injector and not the harness. Measure the injector directly with the harness disconnected. The harness is about 1/4 the cost of the injector and a litle easier to replace than any of the 4 under-plenum injectors.

Yup, thats where I got the readings from. was pain in the butt to check back ones.

Can you give me any heads up?

...? Not sure what you mean. It is very easy to take a reading from the injectors, assuming you have access (plenum off). You just need to remove the harness connector from each injector and take a reading across the 2 injector terminals. Biggest risk is with losing the metal wire clip that secures the connector to the injector, so be careful with it. Drop it into the engine and it'll fall into that black hole that I'm convinced is housing all of our lost-and-never-found parts.

I haven't taken pleum off yet. I check it with help of long skinny screw driver and long probe of my ohm meter.
